<\/a><\/p>\nMy family was excited that we had the opportunity to\u00a0review\u00a0Exploring Creation with Astronomy, 2nd Edition<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0Apologia Educational Ministries<\/a>.\u00a0 Apologia Educational Ministries blessed us with:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The student text is well written and written\u00a0from a Biblical Worldview for grades K-6.\u00a0 Between the activities in the book and those in the journaling notebooks there are plenty of things to keep your children busy learning!\u00a0 Throughout the 14 lessons in the book, the students will learn all about asteroids, the planets, space travel, solar eclipses and much more!\u00a0 The girls have enjoyed what we have done so far.<\/p>\n The Jr. Notebooking Journal (K-2nd\/3rd)\u00a0and the Notebooking Journal (3rd\/4th-6th)\u00a0are consumable notebooks that complement the student text.\u00a0 They notebooks are spiral bound notebooks and when completed\u00a0you will have a\u00a0scrapbook\/portfolio to keep!\u00a0\u00a0There are a\u00a0couple of \u00a0differences between the two books.\u00a0 The Jr.\u00a0Notebooking Journal uses primary lines\u00a0on the majority of the pages\u00a0while the Notebooking Journal has the standard lines for journaling and the Jr. Notebooking Journal has 2 coloring pages while the Notebooking Journal has a 2 ‘What Do You Remember?’ pages.\u00a0 Sweet Pea preferred having the coloring pages over the two ‘What\u00a0Do\u00a0You Remember?’ pages so\u00a0I bought an additional\u00a0Jr. Notebooking Journal for her as well as one for another one of the girls.<\/p>\n Besides the minor differences mentioned above the two notebook journals are essentially\u00a0the same.\u00a0 The books start off by offering a suggested daily schedule and\u00a0families are encouraged to\u00a0modify the assignments to fit the needs of their family.\u00a0\u00a0 The flexible\u00a0daily schedule is color coded\u00a0for textbook reading & activities, notebook assignments, and\u00a0activities that are found exclusively\u00a0in the newly released Astronomy 2nd Edition Science Kit<\/a>.\u00a0 There are some review days built\u00a0into the schedule as well.\u00a0 I love the flexibility!<\/p>\n Following the suggested daily schedule there is a short parent guide with information about the pages in the notebooking journals.\u00a0 Some of the pages included in the journal are:<\/p>\n My girls were not big fans\u00a0of listening to\u00a0the MP3 Audio Book of Exploring Creation with Astronomy, 2nd Edition.\u00a0 They preferred\u00a0having me read the text instead.\u00a0 As a mom, having the book on MP3 is a blessing!\u00a0 It is great to have on those days that I might need a break from reading the text or if we need to listen to the lesson in the car while on the road.<\/p>\n I highly recommend checking out Apologia Educational Ministries if you are looking for a Science program for your home education program!!<\/p>\n Facebook: https:\/\/facebook.com\/apologiaworld<\/a> <\/p>\n Please click the banner below for more reviews of Exploring Creation with Astronomy, 2nd Edition<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0Apologia Educational Ministries!<\/p>\n\n
