\nThe girls and I spend time every day reading books together.\u00a0 Recently we have had the opportunity to read\u00a0Andi Saddles Up<\/a>\u00a0and Andi Under the Big Top<\/a>\u00a0for a review.\u00a0 They are the first two books in the new series\u00a0Circle C Stepping Stones<\/a>.\u00a0 The books are written by Susan K. Marlow<\/a>\u00a0and published by Kregel Publications<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"Andi<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \"Andi<\/a><\/center>
\nAndi Saddles Up & Andi Under the Big Top are books written for children 7-10 years of age!\u00a0 They are perfect for beginning readers who are just starting off reading chapter books.\u00a0 Both books include new vocabulary words and their definitions are\u00a0in the front of the book.\u00a0 There are also study guides, coloring pages,\u00a0and lapbooks\u00a0available for both books.\u00a0 The study guide includes comprehension questions, vocabulary to define, math\u00a0and other fun activities\u00a0that correspond to the stories.<\/p>\n

Andi lives on a\u00a0ranch in the late 1800’s with her mom and siblings.\u00a0 Her family raises cattle and horses.\u00a0 Andi has been riding\u00a0a horse\u00a0for as long as she can remember.<\/p>\n

Andi Saddles Up:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today is Andi’s birthday!\u00a0 She is excited that she is finally old enough to be able to ride her palomino, Taffy.\u00a0 She is very excited that she received a brand new saddle for her 9th birthday.\u00a0\u00a0Andi wants to\u00a0learn a new trick but her brother won’t let her because it is not safe.\u00a0 While at her special spot,\u00a0\u00a0Andi meets Sadie and they\u00a0bond over fishing.\u00a0 They don’t know it but their\u00a0families are quarreling over the very land\u00a0that they are making memories.\u00a0 Will they be able to stay friends?<\/p>\n

Andi Under the Big Top:<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is late summer in 1877 and the circus is coming to town!\u00a0 Andi hasn’t been to the circus since she was little and is very excited to go.\u00a0 Clowns, animals, and\u00a0Andi’s favorite a champion bareback rider!\u00a0\u00a0 She meets Henry Jackson, a young boy working with the circus.\u00a0\u00a0The next day after the circus,\u00a0Taffy goes missing.\u00a0 Will Andi find her palomino before it is too late?\u00a0 Will she be able to help Henry\u00a0before the circus has to leave town?<\/p>\n

Sweet Pea read the books on her own.\u00a0 As well, I read the books to\u00a0Sweet Pea, Peanut, and Lil’ Bit.\u00a0\u00a0I am looking forward to the next two books that will be released later on this year.\u00a0 I like that the books are for boys and girls and that the books teach many lessons including honesty and friendships.\u00a0 The illustrations in the books are beautiful!\u00a0 They are well drawn.\u00a0 If you are looking for a new series for your children to read, I highly recommend the Circle C Stepping Stones series!<\/p>\n

There are four other books in the Circle C Stepping Stones<\/a><\/span>\u00a0series\u00a0scheduled to be released later this year through summer of 2018.<\/p>\n
