\"Nature<\/a><\/center>Florida’s Treasure Coast ~ Here We Come!<\/a>\u00a0is a fun and engaging book by By the Way Book Series<\/a>.\u00a0 My family and I have had the opportunity to review this wonderful book.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"Nature<\/a><\/center>Florida’s Treasure Coast ~ Here We Come! is a 48 page book that explores Florida’s Treasure Coast through “Discovering Biblical Truth in Everyday Life”.\u00a0 The book is filled with facts about\u00a0wildlife and history in Florida.<\/p>\n

In Florida’s Treasure Coast ~ Here We Come!<\/a>\u00a0Alex and Lexi are invited by their grandparents to come and visit them in the Sunshine State.\u00a0 Since it is snowing where they live they jump at the opportunity to go somewhere nice and warm.\u00a0 They fly to West Palm Beach, Florida.\u00a0 The kids and their grandparents explore a beach, a state park, and take a boat to Trapper Nelson’s.\u00a0 They learn about shells, sand, birds, hurricanes, Trapper Nelson,\u00a0and much more.\u00a0 During their time on the beach they<\/p>\n

I loved this book!\u00a0 I was surprised at how much information was packed in a small book.\u00a0 There is scripture woven in throughout the book which is great!\u00a0 The kids even learned about God’s mercy through situations like Dickinson sharing his experience.\u00a0\u00a0It was shared that they prayed\u00a0for softening of hearts by their captors.\u00a0 They were protected throughout their capture when normally\u00a0in similar situations they would be killed.\u00a0 Beautiful pictures kept the kids engaged and interested.\u00a0 In the book there is talk about becoming a Geo-Cacher.\u00a0 We have not done this activity yet but we are planning to go geocaching.<\/p>\n

On the page with Trapper Nelson, Sweet Pea saw the picture of him holding an alligator’s mouth open.\u00a0 She knows how dangerous they are and asked, “Why does he have his hands in the\u00a0gator’s\u00a0mouth?”\u00a0 I explained that the way he was sitting that\u00a0the alligator was most likely dead.\u00a0 We tried looking up if the alligator was dead or alive but all we could find was information about Trapper Nelson’s life and nothing about the picture itself.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lil’ Bit and Train Buff both enjoyed reading about the shipwrecks and the treasure being lost.\u00a0 Then the ship Reformation getting stuck on the shore in dangerous territory.<\/p>\n

Peanut’s favorite page was\u00a0reading about dolphins.\u00a0 I learned that the US Navy uses dolphins to sniff out hard-to-detect explosives.<\/p>\n

Munchkin loved looking at the pictures and kept pointing them out to me.\u00a0 She also, pointed out the turtle page numbers.\u00a0 When she came across the mosquito, she kept exclaiming, “Oh My! Oh My!”.\u00a0 Living in Florida we are quite familiar with these little pests.<\/p>\n
