Drive Thru History<\/em>\u00ae \u2013 \u201cThe Gospels\u201d<\/a>\u00a0is an 18 episode mini-series that takes us through the birth, life, death, and resurrection\u00a0of Jesus Christ.\u00a0 Every episode is approximately 30 minutes in duration.<\/p>\n

Episode 1: The Historical Landscape
\nEpisode 2: The Announcements
\nEpisode 3: Jesus is Born
\nEpisode 4: Jesus Grows Up
\nEpisode 5: Jesus Starts His Ministry
\nEpisode 6: Jesus Returns to Galilee

\nEpisode 8: Jesus Teaches with Authority
\nEpisode 9: The Sermon on the Mount
\nEpisode 10: Jesus Travels the Sea of Galilee
\nEpisode 11: Jesus Travels North

\nEpisode 13: Jesus Arrives in Jerusalem
\nEpisode 14: The Last Supper
\nEpisode 15: The Trial of Jesus
\nEpisode 16: The Crucifixion of Jesus

\"Drive<\/a><\/center>In every episode, tour guide, Dave Stotts, takes us\u00a0through the events before the birth of Jesus through after His death and resurrection as written in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.<\/p>\n

Dave makes learning History fun!\u00a0 As he is telling us all about what happened over 2,000 years ago, we get to see over 50 ancient sites.\u00a0 We get to see Herod the Great’s massive palaces, what a manger looked like (a bit different than what we think what a manger looks like), what went on during a crucifixion, what tombs looked like, and even get to see what the cities loo like in present day.\u00a0 He even makes Texas BBQ during one of the episodes.\u00a0 \"Drive<\/a><\/p>\n

Included with the DVDs is a study guide filled with beautiful photos from the area, a summary, discussion questions, Bible verses, and the side road, with\u00a0extra tidbits of information.\u00a0 The study guide is great for further study!<\/b><\/i><\/u><\/p>\n

I love the creative storage for the DVDs and study guide!\u00a0 The case looks like a book.\u00a0 The study guide is the pages of the book\u00a0while the\u00a0three\u00a0DVDs are stored on the covers.\u00a0 There is a protective sleeve that goes around it.<\/p>\n

The girls and I watched the episodes together.\u00a0 At 30 minutes a piece every lesson is a great length for my girls who are 9, 8, & 7.\u00a0 The length of the lessons also make them perfect to be used in church classes or a homeschool co-op.\u00a0 Bible verses are referenced to throughout the videos.\u00a0 This is helpful for the girls because they\u00a0have visuals of\u00a0what they have learned in their Bible studies and Awanas.\u00a0 It opens up discussions such as the differences between how & where people lived, where animals were kept, and\u00a0even what it must have been like the day that Jesus was born.<\/p>\n

I highly recommend Drive Thru History<\/em>\u00ae \u2013 \u201cThe Gospels\u201d<\/a>\u00a0by Drive Thru History\u00ae<\/a>.\u00a0 It is a well produced video and we have enjoyed getting to explore History right along with Dave Stotts.\u00a0We look forward to exploring other lessons in History produced by Drive Thru History\u00ae.<\/a><\/p>\n
