Psalm 27<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Lord<\/span> is my light and my salvation;
\nWhom shall I fear?<\/span>
\nThe Lord<\/span> is the defense of my life;<\/span>
\nWhom shall I dread?<\/span>
\nWhen evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh,<\/span>
\nMy adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.<\/span>
\nThough a host encamp against me,<\/span>
\nMy heart will not fear;<\/span>
\nThough war arise against me,<\/span>
\nIn spite of<\/i> this I shall be confident.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

One thing I have asked from the Lord<\/span>, that I shall seek:<\/span>
\nThat I may dwell in the house of the Lord<\/span> all the days of my life,<\/span>
\nTo behold the beauty of the Lord<\/span><\/span>
\nAnd to meditate in His temple.<\/span>
\nFor in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle;<\/span>
\nIn the secret place of His tent He will hide me;<\/span>
\nHe will lift me up on a rock.<\/span>
\nAnd now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me,<\/span>
\nAnd I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy;<\/span>
\nI will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hear, O Lord<\/span>, when I cry with my voice,<\/span>
\nAnd be gracious to me and answer me.<\/span>
\nWhen You said<\/i>, \u201cSeek My face,\u201d my heart said to You,<\/span>
\n\u201cYour face, O Lord<\/span>, I shall seek.\u201d<\/span>
\nDo not hide Your face from me,<\/span>
\nDo not turn Your servant away in anger;<\/span>
\nYou have been my help;<\/span>
\nDo not abandon me nor forsake me,<\/span>
\nO God of my salvation!<\/span>
\nFor my father and my mother have forsaken me,<\/span>
\nBut the Lord<\/span> will take me up.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Teach me Your way, O Lord<\/span>,<\/span>
\nAnd lead me in a level path<\/span>
\nBecause of my foes.<\/span>
\nDo not deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries,<\/span>
\nFor false witnesses have risen against me,<\/span>
\nAnd such as breathe out violence.<\/span>
\nI would have despaired<\/i> unless I had believed that I would
\nsee the goodness of the Lord<\/span><\/span>
\nIn the land of the living.<\/span>
\nWait for the Lord<\/span>;<\/span>
\nBe strong and let your heart take courage;<\/span>
\nYes, wait for the Lord<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
