<\/a><\/center> <\/p>\nThe ability to type efficiently in today’s world is an important skill to acquire.\u00a0\u00a0The Typing Coach Online Typing Course<\/a>\u00a0by The Typing Coach<\/a>\u00a0helps students learn how to type\u00a0through simple but effective lessons.<\/p>\n As written the course is designed to complete one lesson per week. The goals are to complete every lesson with 100% accuracy and not move on until then.\u00a0 This ensures the mastery of learning how to type.<\/p>\n The way the course is designed, children through adults can\u00a0complete the\u00a0lessons.\u00a0 The course is very\u00a0basic and does not use flashy graphics or catchy songs to teach the lessons.\u00a0 Great for anyone wanting to learn or improve their typing.<\/p>\n The lessons are listening to audio files (20-30 minutes in length)\u00a0and following directions.\u00a0 Lots of repetition because you are not supposed to\u00a0move on until you have mastered the current lesson.<\/p>\n Instead of the\u00a0majority of the typing\u00a0being done on a web interface, it is completed using a word processing program such as Microsoft Word or Open Office Writer.\u00a0\u00a0This is great for the child who may easily be distracted\u00a0 by all the flashy activity that occurs is most children’s computer programs.<\/p>\n On the web interface there is a course introduction.\u00a0 This\u00a0includes reading\u00a0an introduction to the course, a visual tour of the course,\u00a0and\u00a0playing the files while typing.\u00a0 Also in the course information section is where you can print the student packet, print the learning checks, and print a progress chart.\u00a0 There is also a Teacher Resource Center.<\/p>\n There\u00a0are sections\u00a0with information about taking the course at a slower pace for younger children and children who may need\u00a0additional assistance, a practice and testing center, and the information for creating a before and after snapshot of your typing.<\/p>\n The lessons are: Having Good Posture, Home Row,\u00a0 Top Row,\u00a0Bottom Row,\u00a0Shift Keys,\u00a0Evaluating Your Skills,\u00a0Typing Practices, and Number Row.<\/p>\n There is a\u00a0Serious Practicing section where you will work on concentrated practice to improve your skills and prepare for you\u00a0for the\u00a0Final Assessment.<\/p>\n After you finish the Final Assessment which shows you how much you have improved you will complete the Conclusion with thoughts and guidance.<\/p>\n Like I mentioned above Sweet Pea is 9.\u00a0\u00a0She gets little computer time and what computer\u00a0time she does get is usually educational games.\u00a0 I wasn’t sure how she would do being that this program isn’t a game.\u00a0\u00a0She\u00a0has enjoyed working through the lessons and asked me if she could continue\u00a0working on it while we are at our local homeschool convention that is coming up.<\/p>\n From a mom’s perspective,\u00a0I really like the simplicity of the program of The Typing Coach Online Typing Course.\u00a0 It allows\u00a0Sweet Pea\u00a0to remained\u00a0focus on learning to type properly before establishing any bad habits (such as hunt and peck).\u00a0 I look forward to her completing this program!<\/p>\n Please check out The Typing Coach Online Typing Course<\/a>\u00a0by The Typing Coach<\/a>.\u00a0I highly recommend it for anyone learning how to type or wanting to improve their typing skills.\u00a0You can try it first<\/a> before purchasing and it is only $17 per person for a year’s access.<\/p>\n Please click the banner below for additional Homeschool Review Crew reviews of The Typing Coach Online Typing Course<\/a>\u00a0by The Typing Coach<\/a>.<\/p>\n![\"The](\"http:\/\/i1202.photobucket.com\/albums\/bb374\/TOSCrew2011\/2017%20Homeschool%20Review%20Crew\/05%20-%20May\/23%20-%20The%20Typing%20Coach%20Online%20Typing%20Course\/Typing%20Coach%20Banner_zpsowxub6gp.jpeg\")
