With Thanksgiving coming up I needed to plan what we are doing in school.\u00a0 I have very little resources for Thanksgiving other\u00a0than\u00a0 a few things.\u00a0 I didn’t have any books that covered this era.<\/p>\n
My usual go to is Amazon.com.\u00a0 Oh my!\u00a0 Lots of books to choose from!\u00a0 There had to be a better way to narrow my choices down!\u00a0 The Lord gave me the idea to check our history program for resources!\u00a0 That was perfect!\u00a0 I can buy some books and then they will be used when we get to that point of their program.\u00a0 I chose books from their lower grammar level, which is where my girls are currently at.\u00a0 I don’t expect all three\u00a0girls to move up to upper grammar\u00a0between now and when we reach that time period in another year.\u00a0 If anyone moves up it would be my oldest and I will just cross that bridge when I get to it.\u00a0 I will also have two more that will be in lower grammar the next time we cycle through the year plans and of course reading from the books every year, so they will get a lot of use.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 A couple of the books have projects and crafts which my kids enjoy to do!<\/p>\n
