Do not fret because of evildoers, Rest in the Lord<\/span> and wait patiently for Him;<\/span> The wicked plots against the righteous<\/span> Better is the little of the righteous<\/span> The steps of a man are established by the Lord<\/span>,<\/span> Depart from evil and do good,<\/span>
\nBe not envious toward wrongdoers.<\/span>
\nFor they will wither quickly like the grass<\/span>
\nAnd fade like the green herb.<\/span>
\nTrust in the Lord<\/span> and do good;<\/span>
\nDwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.<\/span>
\nDelight yourself in the Lord<\/span>;<\/span>
\nAnd He will give you the desires of your heart.<\/span>
\nCommit your way to the Lord<\/span>,<\/span>
\nTrust also in Him, and He will do it.<\/span>
\nHe will bring forth your righteousness as the light<\/span>
\nAnd your judgment as the noonday.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nDo not fret because of him who prospers in his way,<\/span>
\nBecause of the man who carries out wicked schemes.<\/span>
\nCease from anger and forsake wrath;<\/span>
\nDo not fret; it leads<\/i> only to evildoing.<\/span>
\nFor evildoers will be cut off,<\/span>
\nBut those who wait for the Lord<\/span>, they will inherit the land.<\/span>
\nYet a little while and the wicked man will be no more;<\/span>
\nAnd you will look carefully for his place and he will not be there<\/i>.<\/span>
\nBut the humble will inherit the land<\/span>
\nAnd will delight themselves in abundant prosperity.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nAnd gnashes at him with his teeth.<\/span>
\nThe Lord laughs at him,<\/span>
\nFor He sees his day is coming.<\/span>
\nThe wicked have drawn the sword and bent their bow<\/span>
\nTo cast down the afflicted and the needy,<\/span>
\nTo slay those who are upright in conduct.<\/span>
\nTheir sword will enter their own heart,<\/span>
\nAnd their bows will be broken.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nThan the abundance of many wicked.<\/span>
\nFor the arms of the wicked will be broken,<\/span>
\nBut the Lord<\/span> sustains the righteous.<\/span>
\nThe Lord<\/span> knows the days of the blameless,<\/span>
\nAnd their inheritance will be forever.<\/span>
\nThey will not be ashamed in the time of evil,<\/span>
\nAnd in the days of famine they will have abundance.<\/span>
\nBut the wicked will perish;<\/span>
\nAnd the enemies of the Lord<\/span> will be like the glory of the pastures,<\/span>
\nThey vanish\u2014like smoke they vanish away.<\/span>
\nThe wicked borrows and does not pay back,<\/span>
\nBut the righteous is gracious and gives.<\/span>
\nFor those blessed by Him will inherit the land,<\/span>
\nBut those cursed by Him will be cut off.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nAnd He delights in his way.<\/span>
\nWhen he falls, he will not be hurled headlong,<\/span>
\nBecause the Lord<\/span> is the One who holds his hand.<\/span>
\nI have been young and now I am old,<\/span>
\nYet I have not seen the righteous forsaken<\/span>
\nOr his descendants begging bread.<\/span>
\nAll day long he is gracious and lends,<\/span>
\nAnd his descendants are a blessing.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nSo you will abide forever.<\/span>
\nFor the Lord<\/span> loves justice<\/span>
\nAnd does not forsake His godly ones;<\/span>
\nThey are preserved forever,<\/span>
\nBut the descendants of the wicked will be cut off.<\/span>
\nThe righteous will inherit the land<\/span>
\nAnd dwell in it forever.<\/span>
\nThe mouth of the righteous utters wisdom,<\/span>
\nAnd his tongue speaks justice.<\/span>
\nThe law of his God is in his heart;<\/span>
\nHis steps do not slip.<\/span>
\nThe wicked spies upon the righteous<\/span>
\nAnd seeks to kill him.<\/span>
\nThe Lord<\/span> will not leave him in his hand<\/span>
\nOr let him be condemned when he is judged.<\/span>
\nWait for the Lord<\/span> and keep His way,<\/span>
\nAnd He will exalt you to inherit the land;<\/span>
\nWhen the wicked are cut off, you will see it.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
