Reading books\u00a0together is something that my children and I enjoy doing.\u00a0 Recently, we had the opportunity to review Imagine. . .The Great Flood by Matt Koceich<\/a> <\/strong>from Barbour Publishing<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nImagine. . .The Great Flood by Matt Koceich<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is a 112 page chapter\u00a0book written for children ages 8 to 12.<\/p>\n

The book is about a ten year old boy named Corey.\u00a0 He and his family are preparing to move from Texas to Florida.\u00a0 Understandably he is\u00a0not happy about moving to\u00a0Florida and the unknown.<\/p>\n

While chasing after his dog Molly, Corey falls and hits his head.\u00a0 He awakes to find\u00a0himself\u00a0in the time of Noah and the Ark and on the adventure of a lifetime.<\/p>\n

Noah\u00a0and his family are busy preparing for the great flood and Corey tags along to help Shem and his brothers gather the animals.<\/p>\n

While gathering the animals, Corey faces some trials such as being attacked\u00a0by the Nephilim, tempted by Elizar, and thrown in a pit and left to die.<\/p>\n

Read the book to find out what happens to Corey, Noah’s family, and what Corey has learned through his adventure back in time.<\/p>\n

The kids and I enjoyed reading the book together.\u00a0 While I did most of the reading, Sweet Pea (nine)\u00a0read some to us.\u00a0The only trouble she had was when she came across a couple of the names\u00a0for the first time.\u00a0The book is a great read for children who are just beginning to read chapter books.<\/p>\n

This book opens up the opportunity to talk about trusting God through even the tough times\u00a0and how He is always there for you no matter what.<\/p>\n

If you\u00a0are looking for a new book for your child or grandchild to read, I highly recommend\u00a0Imagine. . .The Great Flood by Matt Koceich<\/a>.<\/p>\n
