\"Heirloom<\/a><\/center> <\/p>\n

Our family has enjoyed audio theatre productions by\u00a0Heirloom Audio Productions<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 Captain Bayley’s Heir<\/a> <\/strong>is the most recent production that we have had the wonderful opportunity to listen to and also\u00a0review as well as received access to the Live the Adventure Club website.<\/p>\n

\"Captain<\/a><\/center>Captain Bayley’s Heir<\/a>\u00a0is a 2-CD audio drama with over two hours of fun filled adventure.\u00a0 The six stars behind Captain Bayley’s Heir\u00a0are: Brian Blessed (Star Wars, Tarzan, Robin Hood), John Rhys-Davies (The Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones), Jade Williams (The Royal Shakespeare Company), Ian Porter (Saving Private Ryan), Flinty Williams (The Importance of Being Earnest), and David Shaw-Parker (The Muppet Christmas Carol).<\/p>\n

About Captain Bayley’s Heir …<\/strong><\/p>\n

After Frank, Captain Bayley’s nephew, finds himself in trouble with his school, he takes off for America in search for a new life.\u00a0 He wants to make it on his own like his uncle, and then one day hopes to be able to clear his name.<\/p>\n

Frank travels to\u00a0America by boat\u00a0working as a deckhand.\u00a0 Through his hard work on the ship called the Mississippi,\u00a0Frank is introduced to Hiram Bosarge.\u00a0 Hiram offers him a job on\u00a0the ship he is overseeing.\u00a0 After a horrible storm and advice Frank gives on how to save the boat which is sitting in a tree.\u00a0 Hiram can tell that Frank is running from something.\u00a0 They are talking and Hiram suggests heading out West to California\u00a0to search for Gold.\u00a0Then Hiram and Frank head up to Omaha on a brand new ship as a thank you from the owner for saving his ship.<\/p>\n

Frank decides to take Hiram’s recommendations and the two men part ways in Omaha.\u00a0 Frank heads West with a caravan that he meets in Omaha.\u00a0 While Frank is travelling on the dangerous trek out\u00a0West, we are taken back to England to the day that Frank is discovered missing from school.<\/p>\n

Captain Bayley learns about his missing nephew and on the same day he learns what happened to his daughter Ella.<\/p>\n

Join Captain Bayley, his nephews Frank and Fred, Alice, and the Hall family through their travels.\u00a0 Will Frank\u00a0survive the dangerous travels?\u00a0 What happened to Ella?\u00a0 Will Captain Bailey be reunited with his nephew and their relationship restored?\u00a0 Will Frank’s name be cleared at school?<\/p>\n

Out Thoughts …<\/strong><\/p>\n

Captain Bayley’s Heir is another wonderful Heirloom Audio production!\u00a0 We listened to it in the car as well as the house.\u00a0 While we were listening Sweet Pea exclaimed “Mom!\u00a0\u00a0I recognize his voice from Beric the Briton!” (Another wonderful\u00a0 Heirloom Audio production that we have listened to.)\u00a0 She loves their productions and asked for us to add Captain Bayley’s Heir to her iPod so she can listen to it whenever she wants to.<\/p>\n

There is something new to me which I love!\u00a0 It is the Live the Adventure Club website!\u00a0 From the website you can listen to the audio production!\u00a0 Heirloom Audio\u00a0provides a copy of the script so you can follow along while listening to the audio drama.\u00a0 The script has an automatic highlighter that follows along with the drama.\u00a0 There are 10 highlight colors to choose from as well as you have the option of the background and text colors as well (white background and black text or black background and white letters).<\/p>\n

There is an autocorrecting multiple choice quiz that can also be taken on the club website.\u00a0 If you answer correctly the answer lights up in green.\u00a0 If you are incorrect, your answer is lit in red and the correct answer is in green.\u00a0\u00a0The quiz questions are the Listening Well questions from the study guide. However, in the study guide they are not multiple choice.<\/p>\n

The study guide is also available\u00a0on the Live the Adventure Club website.\u00a0 The study guide includes the Listening Well questions mentioned above, Thinking Well questions which require a longer answer, as well as a list of vocabulary words.\u00a0 Also, available on the Live the Adventure Club are other downloads such as an e-book of the audio drama, the official soundtrack, a printable\u00a0cast poster, a\u00a0printable copy of the inspirational hymn, and a\u00a0desktop wallpaper download.<\/p>\n

The Live the Adventure Club website is much more than access to items related to the audio drama production.\u00a0 There is also an online community as well as kid activities and parent resources\u00a0related to the audio dramas produced by Heirloom Audio.<\/p>\n
