<\/a><\/center>\nThe parent friendly CTCMath\u00a0teacher interface\u00a0makes adding tasks and\u00a0tracking student’s progress a breeze!\u00a0 When logged into the teacher interface, the latest tasks and student information is displayed on the screen.<\/p>\n
The Latest Tasks allows parents to add new tasks and\u00a0view active, recently expired, as well as upcoming tasks.\u00a0 Below the tasks, the account activity, awards, and weekly reports can be accessed.<\/p>\n
When\u00a0adding a new task the following information is needed:<\/p>\n

- Task Date (Can also be a range of dates)<\/li>\n
- Title<\/li>\n
- Description<\/li>\n
- Emailing the Task Report to the teacher when\u00a0the task\u00a0falls due.<\/li>\n
- Requiring\u00a0the students to complete\u00a0lessons and diagnostic tests in order.<\/li>\n
- Hiding\u00a0the level of lessons and diagnostic tests from the student.<\/li>\n
- Recipients (Can be multiple recipients)<\/li>\n
- Lessons (Can be multiple lessons)<\/li>\n
- Diagnostic tests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Save the task and then everything is in place for the student at the appropriate times!\u00a0 The task will appear in your student’s account on the days that you specified the availability.<\/p>\n
The student information lists the students, the last time they logged in, how many lessons they have completed, view their student profile, as well as logging directly into their account.\u00a0\u00a0When the student account is logged into through the parent portal, the parental account will automatically be logged out of.<\/p>\n

Our thoughts …<\/strong><\/p>\n
Since it has been many years since I last took an Algebra class, I worked through the CTCMath\u00a0Algebra lessons.\u00a0I found the lessons to be short and\u00a0to the point,\u00a0which I liked.\u00a0 Lessons and completing 10 problems\u00a0took me no more than 15 minutes in a day to complete.\u00a0 Once I completed the first set of questions, I had the option of completing additional questions or moving on.<\/p>\n
I liked being able to print copies of completed lessons\u00a0and assessments as they were completed.\u00a0 Our lessons didn’t always get printed or saved on the computer.\u00a0I wish that I had the ability to go back at a later date\u00a0and re-print lessons and assessments.\u00a0 I save and print them to keep their work throughout the year as well as\u00a0use some as samples in my\u00a0kid’s\u00a0portfolios.<\/p>\n
The information included on the printout:\u00a0name, date, lesson name, score, how many correct, duration, as well as the problems themselves, with the answer.\u00a0 The problems were graded and if incorrect, the correct answer was provided as well.<\/p>\n

There are also grade level checklists and awards that can be printed for families that need to maintain records or portfolios.<\/p>\n
Peanut, Lil’ Bit,\u00a0Sweet Pea, and\u00a0Train Buff all enjoyed their lessons!<\/p>\n
Sweet Pea (9 years old)\u00a0was excited to get to use CTCMath again.\u00a0 We got to use it last year\u00a0as a part of the Homeschool Review Crew.\u00a0 She loves math\u00a0so anything Math related is fun for her.\u00a0 Sweet Pea\u00a0completed\u00a0 lessons in her grade level for\u00a0measuring and addition.\u00a0 Through the kid\u00a0friendly interface, Sweet Pea was able to maneuver around without assistance.\u00a0 She completed assigned tasks as well as chose other individual lessons to complete.<\/p>\n
Train Buff (5) needed the most help but he also doesn’t use a computer much\u00a0unless he is watching an educational\u00a0train show.\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a0shorter lessons were\u00a0awesome for his attention span.\u00a0 He worked on basic addition.<\/p>\n
There were a few addition problem where the items, like stars,\u00a0he was counting were placed too close together.\u00a0\u00a0Counting was difficult for him when the counters were too close together.\u00a0\u00a0They looked like one large item\u00a0versus individual items.<\/p>\n
Peanut (8) and\u00a0Lil’ Bit (7)\u00a0both have been enjoying CTCMath as well.\u00a0\u00a0Like Sweet Pea, they both\u00a0worked on measuring and addition lessons at their\u00a0grade levels.\u00a0They have been eager in completing their lessons.<\/p>\n
