When the opportunity came to be able to review Zonderkidz<\/a> hardcover Faith Builders Bible<\/a> I knew this would be one my girls would enjoy!\u00a0 Building with Legos are popular with all five of my kids.\u00a0 Perfect timing on arriving too!\u00a0 The Bible arrived shortly before we left for Awanas!\u00a0 Our girls use\u00a0Bibles in Awanas and Peanut\u00a0is using this Bible in Awanas as well as at\u00a0church on Sundays.\u00a0 Peanut also likes to carry around her Bible wherever she goes!<\/p>\n

\"Faith<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Faith Builders Bible is the perfect size for small hands and light weight.\u00a0 Written in New International Reader’s version it is an easy read for young children.\u00a0 However, the font is small on most pages and some children, especially beginning readers,\u00a0may have difficulty reading scripture.\u00a0 I do like that the scripture is in two columns on every page but it may create some difficulties for a beginning reader.\u00a0 Older children and experienced readers should not have trouble with either of the two things mentioned.<\/p>\n

Here are three verses that I would like\u00a0to share that are written in the New International Reader’s Version.<\/p>\n

Psalm 23 –<\/strong>\u00a0The Lord is my shepherd.\u00a0 He gives me everything I need.\u00a0 He lets me lie down in fields of green grass.\u00a0 He leads me beside quiet waters.\u00a0 He gives me new strength.\u00a0 He guides me in the right paths for the honor of his name.\u00a0 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid.\u00a0 You are with me.\u00a0 Your shepherd’s rod and staff comfort me.\u00a0 You prepare a feast for me right in front of my enemies.\u00a0 You pour oil on my head.\u00a0 My cup runs over.\u00a0 I am sure that your goodness and love will follow me all of the days of my life.\u00a0 And I will live in the house of the Lord forever. John 3:16 –<\/strong>\u00a0God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son.\u00a0 Anyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life. (NIrV)<\/p>\n

Romans 3:23 –<\/strong>\u00a0Everyone has sinned.\u00a0 No one measures up to God’s glory. (NIrV)<\/p>\n

The Faith\u00a0Builders\u00a0Bible includes 24 beautiful color pages of Bible stories!\u00a0 Every page has a scene from the Bible\u00a0created with blocks and a building block verse.\u00a0 Some of the pages include a challenge to build something (like recreating the scene or creating animals) or read\u00a0another passage to learn more about what happened.\u00a0 The font on these pages are a lot larger and are easier for a beginning reader to read.\u00a0 The possibilities are endless when using the Faith Builders Bible because you are not limited to the pages that are included in the Bible.\u00a0 Any scene can be recreated to reinforce what\u00a0is being learned!<\/p>\n

At the back of the Bible there is a small, five page, dictionary and a list of 92 Bible stories and where you can find them in the Bible.\u00a0 There are no maps that you would find in the majority of\u00a0Bibles.\u00a0 This hasn’t been and shouldn’t be an issue for Peanut when using this Bible at church during service or during Awanas.<\/p>\n
