Sweet Pea and I had a Mommy & Daughter day together recently.  As a perk of one of my dad’s jobs he gets free tickets to various events that are going on locally.  He received tickets to a Stamp show that was being held at the local recreation center.  He knew that my mom and I are scrapbookers and offered the tickets to us.  I took Sweet Pea to JJ’s for lunch and surprised her with going to the show.  We had to stop by my parent’s house to grab the ticket.  While we were there, my parents kitty was out on the porch.  We said hi to her and she came running over to greet us and ask to be scratched.  For those who know her, she steers clears of kids.

 

 

Sweet Pea was tickled pink when she realized where we were going.  She loves scrapbooking and stamping.  The gymnasium of the rec center was packed with vendors and was the perfect size for a few hours of make & takes and shopping.

This was cool.  It is an image printed on shrinky dink material and the vendor had Sweet Pea cut it out.  Then the item was shrunk a button with the sun’s face was attached to it.
