I’m Going to Give You a Bear Hug! by Caroline B. Cooney is an adorable book for young children.  This beautifully illustrated  hardback book is written for children 4-8 years old.  Children giggle throughout the book as the young child gives bear hugs to various animals and a goodnight hug to his mommy.

 

My girls love the book!  Lil’ Bit (6) laughed when the little boy sleeps “…”like a log hug.”.  She especially liked the duck hug, the sheep hug, and the bear hug.  Munchkin (3) was excited to see the lamb.  Peanut (7) liked all of the animals.  If you are looking for a bedtime story for your child or a baby gift for a shower I highly recommend this book!
