Mo

We are currently reviewing Daily Bible Jigsaw by Planet 316.  The review will posted tomorrow.  After the completion of every puzzle a Bible verse will appear.  The Bible verse for last Thursday’s puzzle was perfect and just what I needed.

Earlier that day, we lost one of our family pets.  She had been with me for 15 years, ever since she was weaned from her mom.  A friend of the family had a pregnant stray in her yard and I got one of the kittens from the litter.

Mocs (Mo Mo as the kids called her) was a sweet cat.  She was mostly a one person cat.  Ran and hid from strangers and you didn’t see much of her until at night when the kids were asleep and the house was nice and quiet.

She did surprise me though.  The very first night she met David, she jumped up on his lap and laid on him for the longest time.  That was very unusual for her.

She held the longest grudge against one of my best friends.  One time my best friend came to visit for the weekend and had no one to take care of her dog so I said, “Sure!  Bring the dog along!”  Mocs hides anyways, it won’t matter.  That cat sure held a grudge and never seemed to forgive Missy for bringing Miss P with her.  Every time Missy came to visit, even a decade later, she would growl and hiss the instant she saw Missy.

Later on in her life she loved being on the porch.  We created a little space for her to sleep and she stayed there 24/7.  We tried bringing her inside and she would sit and cry by the door asking to go back out.  She would greet us every time she saw us and now the silence from the porch hurts.

Here is a picture of Mo not too long after I got her.  I am looking for other photos that I have of her and will share them.

 Have a blessed evening!
